Sustainability Week 2022 preview in Pokemon GO. Oranguru debut and much more

The creators of Pokemon GO have announced another event that will be added to the game soon.


Niantic has announced that in 5 days there will be a new event that will bring many interesting attractions. A new creature from the Alola region will debut in the game.

In addition, players will be able to catch many interesting Pokemon and use a bonus that will provide additional experience points. What else is worth knowing?

Sustainability Week 2022 in Pokemon GO

The event will start on April 20, 2022 (Wednesday), and will last until April 25, 2022 (Monday).

On this occasion, the following attractions are planned.

  • Oranguru will debut in Pokemon GO.
  • A shiny version of Cherub will also be released in the game. Anyone who is lucky will find it.
  • The following creatures will appear in the wild: Oddish, Grimer, Turtwig, Grotle, Cherubi, Trubbish, Ferroseed, and Oranguru. Anyone lucky enough will be able to come across Venusaur and Phantump as well.
  • The 7-kilometer-long eggs will hatch: Alolan Diglett, Larvitar, Cherubi and Oranguru.
  • The Mossy Lure Module will attract Gloom, Weepinbell, Chikorita, Grotle, Cherub, and Sewaddle. Lucky trainers will also attract Alolan Diglett, Bellossom, and Nincada to PokeStop.
  • The game will feature thematic Field Research, from which you will be able to get, among others Mega Energy of Venusaur and Abomasnow and Pokemons: Turtwig, Cherub, Snivy, Trubbish, Chespin, and Phantump.
  • During the event, the bonus of double experience points for spinning PokeStops will be active.
  • The game will feature a new Collector’s Challenge that can be used to earn a Badge, the Mossy Lure Module, and the 15 Great Balls.

Oranguru:

April Community Day

On April 23, 2022 (Saturday), the April Community Day will be held, which will be related to Stufful. During the event, additional tasks will also be available, which will consist of traveling 1 kilometer. Performing each of them will give you a chance to meet Cherubi.

For each trainer who walks 5 km on Community Day in search of adventure, Niantic will plant a tree (up to 100,000 trees). So go on the lookout!
