The developers of Pokemon GO have revealed information related to the game’s upcoming event.
With the beginning of March, a new season – Rising Heroes – began in Pokemon GO. This means that a number of interesting new features and events will be coming to the game.
One of them has already been announced and it is known that it will take place later this week. It will be related to fighting-type creatures. There will be no shortage of themed tasks with prizes or bonuses. Here are all the details of the upcoming event for the game.
Catch Mystery in Pokemon GO
The event will begin on Sunday, March 5, 2023, and will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time.

Make like a Fighting-type Pokémon and give your skills a stretch during the Catch Mastery event, featuring Hitmontop, Hitmonlee, and Hitmonchan!
On this occasion, the following attractions will be provided:
- The following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild: Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. Both may be encountered in shiny versions.
- The following creatures will be available to meet after completing Field Research tasks: Hitmontop. He too will be able to appear in a shiny version.
- During the event, the following Pokémon will be able to hatch from 7-kilometer eggs: Tyrogue.
Timed Research
Timed Research focused on your PokéBall throwing accuracy will be available throughout the event!
Complete 10 sets of research tasks to encounter 40 Hitmontop in total!

The following bonuses will be active during the event:
- Greater chance of encountering shiny Hitmonlee, shiny Hitmonchan, and shiny Hitmontop.
