A preview of the Spring into Spring event in Pokemon GO. Everything you need to know

The developers announced a new spring event in Pokemon GO. What attractions will go to the players?

It’s time to announce the spring event in Pokemon GO. Every year in the spring there is an event related to creatures that wear floral wreaths.

In addition to the costumes related to the season of the encountered Pokemon, players will also receive various bonuses or themed tasks. What is worth knowing about the upcoming event in Pokemon GO?

Spring into Spring in Pokemon GO

The event will start on April 12 (Tuesday) and will run until April 18, 2022 (Monday).

On this occasion, the following attractions are planned:

  • The game will feature Pokemon in new spring costumes: Togetic, Togekiss, Lopunny.
  • During the event, a new legendary creature will debut – Tapu Bulu.
  • From April 12, the game will feature new themed quests – Ula’ula Island Special Research.
  • The following Pokemon will appear in the wild: Spring Pikachu, Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Jigglypuff, Spring Eevee, Whismur, Spring Buneary, Bunnelby. Anyone lucky will find the Spring versions of Chansey and Togetic.
  • A flowery Collection Challenge will be active during the event.
  • For the duration of the event, the following Pokemon will hatch from 2-kilometer eggs: Pichu in the spring version, Igglybuff, Azurill, Munchlax, Happiny in the spring version, Togepi in the spring version, Exeggcute, Chingling, and Riolu.
  • Thematic Field Research will appear in the game.
  • The following bonuses will be active:
    • double the amount of candy for catching Pokemon,
    • double duration of Lucky Egg,
    • the distance needed to hatch eggs shortened by half,
    • Team GO Rocket members will own Shadow Whismur and Shadow Exeggcute.
  • In the store, from gifts and for spinning PokeStops, players will receive themed stickers.

  • On April 16, the event Limited Research day: An Egg-citing Spring Surprise will be active. Its main character will be Exeggcute. Its evolution (Alolan Exeggcutor) will be able to get an event attack – Draco Meteor.
    • Also on April 16, the double experience bonus for catching creatures will be active.
    • The following Pokemon will appear in the wild: Bulbasaur, Oddish, Paras, Bellsprout, Tangela, Chikorita, Sunkern, Treecko, Seedot.
