Blizzard has decided to give players a surprise. A Bastion skin has been added to the game and is practically free.
Getting new cosmetic items is quite problematic in Overwatch 2. In most cases, you simply have to buy them or possibly get them as part of a combat pass. Therefore, all such actions are very popular.
The new skin for Bastion is collectible for exactly 1 credit, this one can be obtained from challenges directly in the game. The skin is therefore practically free.

The promotion itself is hard to miss, but there are probably some people who have already stopped even logging into the game. If you are one of them, it’s worth going into the store and picking up the skin.
There is plenty of time, as the skin will be available until January 2. In addition to it, you will also get a pendant.
Does this fix OW2 in particular somehow? Definitely not, but it’s still good that the developers are doing what they set out to do, at least in terms of more free items.
