Another point proving that Overwatch 2 is getting closer. The “perfect date” is also approaching
Yesterday we had some good and bad news regarding Overwatch. A day like any other day.
Overwatch arouses excitement just as much as sadness and sorrow. Virtually every day, the mood in the community changes. Yesterday, the producer of Overwatch, which you can associate with criticizing Activision Blizzard, confirmed her departure.
Tl; dr posts from her Twitter:
- So far, nothing has changed in the management, it is still bad.
- She is tired of fighting the company and people at the very top.
- Very talented people work at Blizzard.
Tracy is writing about his next project, so she’ll probably stay in the industry. Perhaps she will appear in Riot in a moment – this is a popular destination for former Activision Blizzard employees.
There is also some good information
As Teko, the Polish Overwatch YouTuber noticed again on his Discord, the build we mentioned a few days ago was updated yesterday. Version 2.0 has been officially released, which can theoretically be understood as Overwatch 2 tests.
What does it change? This is another brick to the theory that Overwatch 2 is actually getting closer. However, this is not the discovery of the century, after all, it is known that OW2 is being created and is getting closer every day.
Looking at the general information from Blizzard, which is limited to the publication of the Polish announcement of the event a week after its start, you can conclude that practically nothing is happening there. So build being updated is important because it confirms that Blizzard is doing something.
The world of Overwatch at this point is made up of speculation, unsubstantiated theories, and guesswork. Therefore, it is not surprising that players are starting to get hyped for the perfect date – 2/2/2022. There are no grounds for it, except that it looks nice, but you can see that the trend for the date with practically only twos is starting to appear more and more often.
