LoL players will be able to claim another Prime capsule?
League of Legends players were a bit surprised when it was revealed in early February that the monthly ritual of receiving a free LoL skin and some RP, had ended. Amazon announced that the partnership with LoL has ended and is not planned for 2023, but negotiations are still ongoing.
Now a comment has appeared on Reddit from one of the developers. In it, he says that most likely one more capsule will be added to the game, and what’s next? At this point it is unknown.
A capsule for February?
The promotional action between the two giant corporations has been going on for a long time. The League of Legends community has become accustomed to one additional item arriving in their skin collection once a month. However, 2023 brought unexpected news that the cooperation has ended.
The outrage among fans was huge. Some people had renewed the bundle with RPs and boosts in mind, and here it turns out they can count on free supplies from Amazon, 12 subs on Twitch and add-ons for Wild Rift and LoR. While it actually looks favorable at this price, it’s not what they expected.
Well, but there is good news. Riot Meddler let Reddit users know that they are preparing one more capsule for February. However, it will probably be the last one with such content, that is, we’re talking about the skin, RP and other additions that have appeared so far.
Meddler confirmed that they want to release one more capsule, and then time will tell. When will it hit prime gaming? At this point, it is not there yet.
