Wild Rift introduces a ban on playing new characters on ranked games. Should this option should be included in LoL?

Banning new characters from playing ranked games in WR, LoL players are asking for something similar.

There are many difficult characters in League of Legends. To understand how most of them work, you need to spend some time with them. However, players often pick them right away on ranked games and usually end up with a quick FF in the 15th minute.

The same happens in Wild Rift, but a future update will change that a bit. It turns out that the developers have decided to introduce a restriction and you won’t be able to select a character on which you haven’t played enough matches. This pleases LoL players and they are wondering when this will also go to the PC version of the game.

Ranked from level 5 mastery

The little brother of League of Legends, that is, Wild Rift is created by completely different people. In addition, due to the fact that it is a new game, the technology used to create it allows for many innovative changes. Such is the restriction to the Legendary Ranking Queue, which will arrive on the servers in the latest update 3.4.

With this new feature, players who want to play a new character will be forced to play it first on normals. However, this does not apply to all ranked characters, but only those above Diamond, where the level is definitely higher.

This option pleases League of Legends players and they want their allies to choose their best champions as well. Not, however, as in Wild Rift from the diamond level, but even lower. For this reason, the novelty should be adapted to the PC version and introduced as soon as possible. Others point out that it could carry many unpleasant consequences.

Once again, it can be seen that there is no golden mean here. If the autofill is in place, there may be a problem here. Alternatively, the required amount of mastery can be orchestrated with the autofill and this will throw the player into an unwanted position if it detects 5 characters on his account for this line. However, the LoL community doesn’t have to worry about this at this point. Riot will definitely not add this feature anytime soon.
