Gamers are wondering why Riot didn’t take advantage of the great opportunity for Viego’s thematic dialogue line.
Viego appeared on Summoner’s Rift on January 21, 2021, so over a year ago. It’s fair to say that he is one of the most important figures in League of Legends history, as he was mentioned well before his release.
The importance of Viego is shown by, for example, the object named in his honor – Blade of the Ruined King. An interesting fact is that one of the older Pentakill songs is named after it (and during the premiere of the third album, the band members had a fight with the Ruined King). If that was not enough – Riot has released a separate game, the title of which refers to this champion – Ruined King.
Some players wonder why Viego during a match does not at all refer to the fact that there is an item related to him in the store. Has Riot missed such a great opportunity?

Although many months have passed since the premiere of the Ruined King, one of the players – Teakilla – raised the topic of this hero’s speech.
As you know, the characters during the game talk about different things, incl. They express themselves when walking around the map or attacking enemies, and some also have special interactions with items in the store. Unfortunately, Viego doesn’t say anything when he buys an item directly related to him.
In fact, it may seem strange that Riot has wasted such a great opportunity. Many fans do not understand why even a short statement on this topic did not appear in the game.
Unfortunately, for some time now, Riot has been strongly limiting the dialogue lines of their champions. People in the comments noticed that extensive statements and commenting on purchases in the store are becoming forgotten.
Recording so many lines just don’t pay off, because aside from just writing them and adding them to the game, they have to translate them into multiple languages.
Nevertheless, some fans regret that Riot made an exception and did not add that one comment that many players have asked for.
