Which LoL character should receive the Victorious skin in 2022? Players have several guesses
The community is wondering about candidates for the Victorious skin in 2022.
Every season, Riot Games has been releasing a new skin from the Victorious series since the beginning of League of Legends. They are awarded to players who have at least gold in the ranked queue.
Last year, the cosmetic went to Blitzcrank, and now, while it’s only halfway through the season, players are slowly starting to speculate on who will be the next candidate. There are several of them, but who has the best chance?
Victorious 2022 skin
To get a Victorious skin, a hero has to meet several requirements. Riot described them a few years ago to let players know on what basis they choose a candidate. In the beginning, the creators look at the characters that had an impact on the competition. This applies to both the ranked queue and the professional picks. Then they exclude those who:
- Already have the Victorious, Championship, or Conqueror skin.
- Have the same role as the last Victorious Hero.
- Will get a different skin soon.
- Have few skins.
- Are waiting for big changes in balance.
Based on this, many players began to pick who, in their opinion, could get the unique skin. Many commenters on the Reddit post are betting on Gwen. A relatively new character, but with high potential due to her frequent selection both in rankeds and in professional competitions.
Here, however, there is a small problem. She only has 2 skins, which excludes her from the start. The second most guessed hero is Viego. Also a new hero, who also has 2 skins on his account, which excludes him as well.
Players also mention Wukong, Ahri, Ornn, and Kai’S. While the top two are doing well in Ranked, Ornn, and Kai’Sa are promoting this season in the fight against the void. Perhaps because of this, Riot will choose the ADC or TOPlaner. Still, this is speculation, and following an unexpected release of Blitzcrank last season, some believe anything is possible now.
