The only champion in LoL whose average rank is so “high”. The effect of the last “meta”

League of Legends

In LoL, it’s relatively easy to see the best and worst characters. But there is also another interesting statistic about the relationship between champions and ranks.

Up to a certain level, in LoL, you play primarily with which champion you like. This is especially evident in the lower ranks, where players don’t follow the meta too much and choose just what suits them or is easiest to play with.

At this point, there are four characters whose average rank is the lowest – this is Bronze 1. Interestingly, no character has ever moved below that rank. There is also one heroine who managed to stand out above everyone else but in a more positive way.

The worst and best characters by rank

Below you can see the average rank of the characters. In short, it’s about players choosing the following heroes who statistically have the lowest rank and they are:

  • Neeko,
  • Ashe,
  • Morgana,
  • Miss Fortune.

Interestingly enough, Morgana and Neeko were here. Miss Fortune is very popular in general, she has a lot of “one tricks”, so her presence is understandable. Like Ashe, everyone learned to play it at one time.

As for the other side of the coin, the characters with the highest ranks, there is one heroine who has recently stood out above everyone else. The highest average rank is Gold III. Everyone except Janna has Gold IV.

Janna is obviously the result of the last meta of playing her on TOP, which Riot is already taking care of. So it can be expected that the character will soon be equated with everyone else.

It also looks interesting when sorting by the most popular characters. On average:

  • Lux players have Silver IV;
  • Jhin players have Silver II;
  • Ezreal players have Silver II;
  • And Jinx players also have Silver II.

Does it change anything? Rather not, because the ranking itself is only a curiosity. Hardly anyone will choose characters based on what their average rank looks like.
