Death Recap, or the description of death in LoL, should be redone?
In League of Legends, players see not only a gray screen after each death, but also information about who defeated them, at what time, and what attack took the most of their health. The window that appears when you lose your life is called Death Recap.
In theory, something like this should contain a lot of interesting information that may be useful later in the game. In practice, unfortunately, it is not so good. Gamers are complaining and feel that Riot should improve the display of some numerical values as it doesn’t look very good at the moment.
Death Recap needs some fixes?
A user with the nickname DatFrostyBoy started the topic on Reddit. According to the player, the info box should be completely reworked, as many of the values appearing there are useless. Why?
How did death recap get completely reworked but is still mostly useless? If i have to see another “unknown” damage source tab again im going to just never open the tab again. or “item damage”. really? i took damage from items? i dont suppose you could break down for me specifically which items did the most damage to me? no? ok.
it took me way too long to realize the true damage i had been taking was from deaths dance.
The player also complained that it is impossible to check which of the skills used by the enemy lasted the longest. It is also unknown which form of CC affected the character most of the time immediately before her death.
ok im a little tilted because i had a game where someone in the enemy team carried REALLY hard and the play where we lost i checked the death recap and he did more damage to me from unknown sources than known sources… and then i found myself here.
The player turned to Riot and asked the developers to refresh Death Recap. In the comments under the post, you can read that more than one LoL fan came across a situation in which the description of death showed unknown injuries or did not include them at all.
