Rules for getting Worlds 2022 drops in LoL. What should you know about this year’s prizes?
World Championship 2022 starts tonight, how to get the drops?
Tonight the first match of this year’s most important tournament in League of Legends will begin. While the professionals are more or less stressed about their performance, players can think about the prizes they will claim for watching.
To get as many as possible, it’s worth knowing the rules for awarding them. There are really quite a few of them, and knowing them can bring interesting results.
Drops from Worlds 2022
This year’s World Championships 2022 main tournament will begin with a match between team Isurus and MAD Lions. At first, the matches will be played in BO1 format, meaning that each squad has one chance to beat its opponent and earn the points needed to go further.
However, not all LoL fans are interested in the matches, but in the prizes. These are really interesting, such as limited edition chroma designed in collaboration with a well-known brand:
- Crystal Rose Swain
- Zyra Crystal Rose
- Crystal Rose Akshan
Here, however, there is a small catch, because first, you need to buy the above skin, and only later will you be able to activate the code for the chroma. This does not work like the codes from Riot Partners that give a character and a skin. This information is cleverly hidden in the “frequently asked questions”.
If you receive a code for a Chroma for a skin you don’t own, you will see it (the Chroma) in the Chromas tab in the loot section of the game, but you will only be able to use it if you already own the skin and hero.
In addition, you can draw Prize Capsules of the 2022 Championship, in them there is one random item:
- One of the exclusive icons or emoticons of the 2022 Championship (excluding team logos).
- One 2022 E-sports Capsule.
- One Hextech chest and key.
In addition, they are designed so that you will not be able to get duplicates.

According to Riot, they also fall out at key moments in matches, such as:
- after a Pentakill,
- after a triple or quadruple kill,
- between matches, during the opening and closing ceremonies.
