Riot broke its unusual record. One thing has already been changed 9 times, and it’s not over yet

League of Legends

Riot really can’t come to any conclusions when it comes to Senna. Since her release, one thing has already been changed 9 times.

With so many characters as there are in LoL today, it’s hardly surprising that Riot has to change the same thing multiple times very often. It is known that sometimes a given character is influenced by changes of some other hero, dragons, or items.

However, it is sometimes quite fun when players bet before the new update on how Riot will change the conversion of a given skill this time. In patch 12.3 an unusual record was finally broken, closely related to Senna.

Change for the 9th time

Senna was added in patch 9.22 in November 2019. Since then, Riot has had an issue with her “ghost out of the fog” drop rate. The latest description confirms that the developers will be changing this one thing for the 9th time.

  • 9.24: 5.55% to 1.67% for creatures killed by Senna
  • 10.3: 100% to 1.67% for siege minions. From 20% to 25% for minions not killed by Senna
  • 10.8: 25% to 22% for minions not killed by Senna
  • 10.12: 1.67% to 8.33% for minions killed by Senna
  • 10.19: 8.33% to 4.166% for minions killed by Senna
  • 11.2: 22% to 28% for minions not killed by Senna
  • 11.17: 4.166% to 10% for minions killed by Senna

And now we’re at a point where Riot will be changing the same thing for the 9th time. You can see that this issue is one of the most difficult to balance when it comes to the entire League of Legends.

  • 12.3: 10% to 2.777% for creatures killed by Senna

Players are laughing a bit about how Senna’s balancing currently looks like:

In the past, of course, there were similar cases, but they were with very old characters that just have to undergo changes. For example, Riot changed Ezreal’s Q ratios 8 times. Ezreal was added in 2010, however, 9 years before Senna.
