Riot announces that Sivir will receive a mini-rework, along with Olaf, Swain and Taliyah from League of Legends

League of Legends

The creators revealed that the next LoL heroine will receive an update. What is known about this?

In recent months, Riot has decided to brush up on some champions who either haven’t enjoyed a lot of community interest or simply had outdated skill sets.

Not always a full rework is needed, because some skills do not require modification, just like the hero’s model or its skins. Minor updates come in handy here, which aim to modify a character’s kit so that it is useful again and simply fun to play.

Recently, these types of updates have been given to, among others, Swain, Olaf, or Taliyah. Many players have praised Riot’s approach a lot, and even some have found the refreshed heroes too strong.

The creators did not hide that they will not stop at the above-mentioned characters and want to update next ones. Today it is already known who will get the mini-rework.

Sivir mini update

Sivir appeared on Summoner’s Rift on February 21, 2009. Today, she is a character that practically everyone knows well and has in their hero pool (mainly because she costs only 450 Blue Essence). Riot recently released the legendary skin from the Eclipse series for her, and now the developers announced that they are working on a small update. It will be a remake of the kind that went to Olaf, Taliyah, or Swain.

Riot August wrote on Twitter:

After Taliyah/Swain/Olaf the team has started up work on a few more midscope updates. Sivir is the next champ who’ll be receiving one with more to come in the future! RiotRayYonggi is working on her.

Riot RayYonggi, mentioned by August in his post, admitted that working on Sivir makes him immensely excited. The employee added that he was really passionate about the mini-rework of the heroine and would be very happy to answer any questions from the community.
