Riot has now released the official skill description of the upcoming character, Milio.
As is standard, new characters always cause mixed feelings, and this will be the case this time as well. The developers have now officially announced what to expect. A brief description of the character has been added:
is a warmhearted boy from Ixtal who has, despite his young age, mastered the fire axiom and discovered something new: soothing fire. With this newfound power, Milio plans to help his family escape their exile by joining the Yun Tal—just like his grandmother once did. Having traveled through the Ixtal jungles to the capital of Ixaocan, Milio now prepares to face the Vidalion and join the Yun Tal, unaware of the trials—and dangers—that await him.
A detailed description of the skill has also emerged:
Milio uses his mastery of healing flames to keep an eternal fire burning in his handmade backpack, which he named furnasita. The flame created by Milio naturally takes on a lovely anthropomorphic form, which Milio refers to as “fuemigo.” Milio can release several smaller fuemigo from his furnasita and use them as extensions of his magic.
He hasn’t undergone any formal training, so the manifestation of his fire axiom is less disciplined than that of someone as trained as Qiyana, for example. And since he is very far from home, he gives his fuemigo the personality traits of his family members. Sometimes she even talks to them.

Passive – Fired Up!
- Milio’s abilities enchant allies on touch, making their next damage deal a burst of extra damage and burn the target.
Q – Ultra Mega Fire Kick
- Milio kicks a ball that knocks back an enemy. The ball launches upward on hit and falls toward the enemy, damaging and slowing enemies in the area upon impact.
W – Cozy Campfire
- Milio creates an empowering zone that heals allies and increases attack range to those inside. The zone follows the ally nearest to the cast point.
E – Warm Hugs
- Milio tosses a shield to an ally, temporarily increasing their movement speed.
R – Breath of Life
- Milio unleashes a wave of soothing flames that heal and remove crowd control effects from allies in range.
The character will be added to the PBE as early as tomorrow, at least according to leaks. It is expected to hit the live server around March 22-23, 2023.
