LoL scores a huge slip-up. Someone didn’t look at what account they’re sharing this from

Someone is in serious trouble. The person in charge of LoL’s profile scored a slip-up.

League of Legends is a free game, which has certainly had a big impact on the popularity of the title. However, it is also quite a nuisance for both the designers and a large part of the community, as players blocked due to behavior can easily return to the game in an instant.

Ranked gameplay, however, is blocked until you reach account level 30, which means that you can’t immediately jump into ranked gameplay after creating a new account. There is, however, another way out of this situation – the purchase of a leveled account with a clean rank. However, this type of practice is not in line with Riot’s policy, and what’s more, the vast majority of these accounts are leveled up by bots.

What may be all the more surprising is what appeared on one of the official League of Legends social media accounts.

What is Riot retweeting?

There are many places on the web where you can buy a fresh account for League of Legends. There are even special sites dedicated to this, which, like Riot, have social media accounts. A post from such a profile was shared on the official League profile.

Of course, an external company running the LoL profile is responsible for this, but it is still funny.

The entry was deleted shortly after it was published, so the person running social media noticed their mistake. The sharing of various fanart by designers is nothing new. The problem turned out to be the account that originally published it.

Players have started discussing why Riot itself won’t start selling “legal” accounts for smurfs. A user with the nickname Sah5252 wrote that this would not be a good idea, because Riot is trying to fight toxicity and smurfing, so trading such accounts would be a really bad move on the part of the designers.
