LoL players are concerned about the turret changes for patch 12.11. Riot explains that only some of them will be affected

League of Legends

For the upcoming patch, Riot wants to weaken the towers, but not as expected by players.

Update 12.10 brought a lot of changes to League of Legends. In addition to heroes and items, the creators also changed Baron Nashor and towers. They now deal more damage, making it much more difficult to dive under them on the first levels.

It turns out that they will be weakened in just a few days, and this is not to the liking of the community, which says Riot is now rolling back everything that was done in the previous update. However, one employee argues that this is not the case and this is just a misinterpretation of the patch description.

Turret nerf, but not as big

After the big and slightly shaky 12.10 update, which hit the official servers almost two weeks ago, it’s time to rebalance the game. Players have considerable concerns about it, because, as they claim, now the creators will slowly withdraw from the previously applied changes. The emotions are dispelled by Riot GalaxySmash in the thread on Reddit.

An employee responded to a player’s comment that he was annoyed by undoing the turret changes.

This means the damage to tier 2, 3, and Nexus defending structures still remains the same. The change described in the patch notes only applies to the first towers. Therefore, the players have nothing to fear for.
