League of Legends leaks showing unique chromas changing splash art in the client

Splash arts are to be assigned to selected chromas in League of Legends.

League of Legends developers don’t always want to share all their plans with fans right away, and they usually do so through videos or test servers. However, it was not uncommon for League of Legends players to learn about news through leaks.

In the production environment from Riot, there is no shortage of people who have access to insider information that they would like to share anonymously. What could be learned about through leaks this time?

Unique chromas in China

Big Bad Bear – a well-known leaker in the LoL fan community – is once again sharing leaks related to League of Legends, this time showing unique chromas to appear on Chinese servers. The colors not only change but also introduce unique splash art, which features variants of Katarina’s Battle Queen and Ahri’s Spirit Blossom, for example. At this point, however, they were only shown on the website and not in the game.

That has changed with internal testing on China’s PBE servers, as shown in the commissioned videos.

You can see that in the hero selection screen, a place has appeared where you can select splash art for the chroma skin of your choice. The artwork can also be seen on the loading screen.

This is something that may soon appear on all servers, and Riot is currently testing the capabilities in China. Leaker suggests that the chromas splash art in question may be related to the release of the upcoming Ultimate Samira skin – CLICK.
