Janna, Yuumi, Lulu and the rest of the supporters will be removed from their solo lines in LoL patch 12.4
Supporters will disappear from the solo lines in LoL.
Currently, in League of Legends, players have a little problem with the meta. It turns out that the strongest characters are supporters who have escaped from bot and are currently exploring the entire map, starting from the top lane.
Although the tactic of Janna with a smite on TOP appealed to players and professionals, Riot did not quite like it. Accordingly, it has been announced that it will be removed from the game soon.
End of support meta
The 2022 season at LoL started out really weird and controversial. There are new items, two new dragons (one has already been removed), and a whole new support meta in the top lane, with Janna in the lead.
Although these characters were played on solo lines, they always built the standard support items, which made them so strong. Now, this is about to change, and the developers have already announced changes in Update 12.4. It is expected to appear on the official LoL servers on Wednesday, February 16.
While the developers didn’t see a problem with this at first, it has now been announced that the changes will receive items that are not intended to match the solo lines.
However, there is a problem. What about characters that are designed to play solo but use support items? We are talking about Ivern in jungle, or sometimes Karma played on TOP.
As a result, Riot has a hard nut to crack. On the one hand, they have to remove supports from the top lane, and on the other, they cannot make them completely useless. In addition, the creators must remember about Ivern.
