Hextech Maychem is a new Riot game in the LoL world. How much does it cost, what is it about?

Riot has unveiled a new game that will be available on November 16. You can buy it now, thanks to which you will unlock a special skin “Ruined Ziggs”.

As you surely remember, back in 2019, Riot announced many different projects and upcoming games to celebrate LoL’s 10th anniversary. Among them was also a platformer, which will now have its premiere.

We are still, of course, waiting for a brawl and MMO games, but now we know what Hextech Maychem looks like. Of course, the whole thing is related to Arcane, so in the game, we will find many themes strictly from the series.

What does it look like, what is it about and how much does it cost?

The whole game is based on Ziggs as he traverses the world, overcoming obstacles to the beat of the music, which will be somehow crucial. All this can be understood by watching a short gameplay:

Something like old games, but with new graphics and new mechanics. The whole thing looks pretty good, it will surely be quite popular as many people are looking for an opportunity to extend their Arcane “experiences” at the moment.

And here we have, for example, the theme of Heimerdinger, who is not very fond of entertainment. This one has even been labeled “fun-spoiler”.

As for the price, the game costs $9,99. You can buy it on Steam, it’s for PC and Nintendo Switch. If you decide to buy before the premiere, that is before November 16, you will get a special skin – Ruined Ziggs.

Unfortunately, it looks like the skin will only be for Hextech Mayhem, though who knows, it might somehow merge with regular LoL. The requirements are not high, at least not in 2021. You must have some RAM, however. This is what the minimal requirements look like:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system.
  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-4130
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 650 or Radeon HD 7770

And recommended:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Radeon Vega 8

The game is perfect for streamers who will turn it on while waiting in SoloQ. The same will probably be the case with players. The production is casual, it is unlikely to bring much to the LoL world.
