Changes for patch 12.10 in LoL. Revolutionary changes to all characters. No more one-shots?

League of Legends will undergo tremendous changes to redefine the game and its dynamics.


Finally, we can share with you the changes that Riot has discussed with its partners. All this is in the testing phase and may change until officially introduced, and it is definitely worth remembering.

Those are Riot’s core tenets for these changes:

  • Players are expected to feel like they are dealing more damage and taking less damage at the same time
  • “Burst” heroes will have to spend more “resources” or be very ahead to actually eliminate enemies quickly
  • There is to be a greater chance of successful counterattacks
  • Team fights will take longer

It sounds interesting and after a few days we can reveal what Riot has prepared.

All champions receive the following stat pack:

  • Base health: +70
  • Health growth: +14
  • Armor Growth: +1.2
  • MR increase: +0.8
  • A total difference at level 18: +308 health, +20.4 armor, +13.6 MR

Healing and shields decreased

  • All in-game healing effects reduced by ~ 10%
  • All in-game shield effects reduced by ~ 10%

Reduced effect of Grievous Wounds

  • Improved Grievous Wounds: 60% >>> 50%
  • Standard Grievous Wounds: 40% >>> 30%

Runes and item drain healing decreased

  • Healing with Conqueror: 9%/6% omnivamp >>> 8%/5% omnivamp
  • Goredrinker Omnivamp: 10% >>> 8% (+ Ornn’s Upgrade)
  • Maw of Malmorius Omnivamp: 12% >>> 10%
  • Eclipse Omnivamp: 8% >>> 7% (+ Ornn’s Upgrade)
  • Riftmaker Omnivamp: 8% >>> 7% (+ Ornn’s Upgrade)
  • Hailblade/Emberknife Omnivamp: 8% >>> 7%
  • Divine Sunderer Healing: 7.8%/3.6% of max HP >>> 6%/3% of max HP
  • Blade of the Ruined King Life Steal: 8% >>> 7%
  • Bloodthirster Life Steal: 20% >> 18%
  • Immortal Shieldbow: 8% >> > 7% (+ Ornn’s Upgrade)
  • Vampiric Scepter: 8% >>> 7%
  • Elixir of Wrath Physical Vamp: 15% >>> 12%

Other item nerfs

  • Blighting Jewel: 15% penetration>>> 13% penetration
  • Void Staff: 45% penetration>>> 40% penetration
  • Last Whisper: 20% penetration>>> 18% penetration
  •  Lord Dominik’s Regards: 35% penetration>>> 30% penetration
  • Sunfire Aegis Amp damage: 12% per stack (max. 72%) >>> 10% per stack (max. 60%)
  • Moonstone Renewer Healing and Shield Strength: 30% >> 25%
  • Demonic Embrace Burn: 2% (melee) / 1.2% (ranged) of max health >> 1.8% (melee) / 1.2% (ranged) of max health

Item mana regen increased

  • Shard of True Ice Mana Regen: 100% >>> 115% (Does not affect Spellthief’s Edge/Frostfang and Black Mist Scythe)
  • Doran’s Ring Mana Regen: 0.7 /1.25 Per Second >>> 1.0/1.5 per sec.

Runes and resistance reduction

  • Conditioning: resistance increase: 5% >>> 4%

Baron Nashor damage increased

  • Attack Damage: 125 (+8 per minute) >>> 150 (+10 per minute)
  • Maximum attack damage: 435 >>> 520
  • Void Corruption Damage: 60 (+ 20% AD) >> 70 (+ 20% AD)

Tower damage increased

  • AD Outer Tower: 152-278 >>> 167-391
  • AD Inner Tower: 170-305 >>> 187-427
  • AD Inhibitor Tower: 170-305 >>> 187-427
  • AD Nexus Tower: 150-285 >>> 165-405

All of this in this or slightly changed form will go to LoL with update 12.10.
