Another series of Eternals is coming to League of Legends. What is known so far about their addition?

What is known about the upcoming League of Legends Eternals? Graphics and downgrades of the older series.

Eternals hit League of Legends in the 10.5 update in March 2020. They allow you to track progress unique to each hero. Some players found it an interesting variety, while others considered it another unnecessary element that the game’s developers want them to be paid for.

Currently, the store offers two sets of Eternals – Starter and Series One. Riot announces the arrival of the next series and the discounts associated with its release.

Riot on Eternals

Riot, during the launch of the feature in question, reported that the second series of Eternals will appear in January 2021.

First off, for those curious about when and how future Eternals will be released, we’ll be releasing Eternails in entire Series. This means that Series 2 will release for all champions available at the time in January 2021

Like our other personalization offerings, Eternals will have discopunts similar to those for Champions and Sklins, with a bigger discount for when we launch new Eternals.

  • 3 months after a Series’ initial launch = 30% off that Series Pass for 2 weeks
  • When a new Series releases = 60% off all old Series Passes for 2 weeks

It is not known at this point whether Eternals for individual heroes will be discounted, but only sets will receive the reduced price. The price of the first series pass will be reduced from 5850 to 2340 RP. Its purchase will make it possible for the player to track the progress for every champion released so far and those yet to hit the game.

At this point it is not known when exactly the new series will hit the live servers. It is not yet possible to test them on PBE, and thus the release is more likely to be expected after the release of the pre-season update.
