A significant change to Rengar’s mini-work in LoL. What has Riot decided to improve?

League of Legends

Riot has decided to change one of the introduced mechanics in Rengar’s mini-work. How does the hero look at the moment?

About the fact that Rengar will receive changes, players could hear some time ago. Riot originally planned to refresh the hero a bit with the introduction of new dragons to Summoner’s Rift, but the Chemtech map was removed from League of Legends along with its mythical creature.

Because of this, Riot had to take a different approach to correcting Rengar. The fixes presented by the developers a few days ago have been presented in another article – Rengar will officially undergo a skill rework. Every skill, effect, and detail will change. However, a significant amendment was introduced to the above changes.

What did the creators improve in Rengar’s mini-rework?

Rengar’s changes are expected to appear on live servers in Update 12.6 – March 30. Changes that are to be delivered to League of Legends in the next patch can usually be tested on PBE servers.

Players can follow how the works on the upcoming Rengar’s mini-rework are progressing, which allowed them to spot quite a significant fix of the changing Q.

The skill was initially reworked so that it would always critically hit and the chance for a critical hit turned into bonus damage. This concept was kept, but now instead of 1 point of damage for each % of a critical hit chance, the hero’s basic attacks deal additional damage depending on this chance.

Basic attacks are boosted to a maximum of 175% damage (basic 100%), based on the chance of a critical hit.

Q still grants a Critical Hit, but the basic attack can no longer critically hit. The changes were made so that Critical Chance increased Q damage better.

The creators of League of Legends still have a lot of time to test and confirm the final changes. At the moment, everything is still subject to change, and the test servers allow everyone to keep track of the designers’ actions.
