Verstappen’s career is really impressive, as even a simple comparison with another competitor shows.
Max Verstappen won his first Formula 1 world championship in 2021. This driver is relatively young and has already achieved some notable successes. His first contact with an F1 car was in 2014.
For comparison, his older colleague, Valtteri Bottas, had it already in 2010. Nevertheless, it is the Dutchman who is currently number 1.
Verstappen won as many races in one season as Bottas in his entire career
Even though Bottas seems to be a more experienced driver as he has been in Formula 1 for a long time, he has a smaller number of successes. This is of course indicated by the number of Verstappen’s champion titles, but also by the number of races won. Bottas won 10 of them throughout his career, which Max was able to achieve in… one season.
It seems to be really amazing and this fact only shows that the Dutch driver is a really talented racer. It is likely that in the following seasons he will also be spoken about by fans of this sport who will closely observe his actions on the track.
