Verstappen broke Hamilton’s winning streak. The Netherlands is clearly very grateful to him and to Pérez.


This year’s victory of Max Verstappen greatly pleased many Formula 1 fans who supported the Red Bull team or for some reason were bored with Lewis Hamilton’s winning streak. However, the Dutch could feel the greatest joy, because it was finally their compatriot who became the best driver in the world.

In the Kingdom of the Netherlands, you can feel the pride of Verstappen and his Mexican teammate almost everywhere.

‘Thank you’ banner at the fuel station for F1 drivers

As you can see in the photo below, which according to the author was taken in the Netherlands, you can see a banner dedicated to Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez. This is a really great gesture and shows how much the achievement of the Red Bull drivers means to this country.

Pérez himself is Mexican so it was nice to include him. After all, the rider, as a co-driver, also contributed to the Dutchman’s success. Many people point out that “Checo” is an underrated driver, although as you can see in the photo above, there are exceptions to the rule:
