Will Bottas achieve even more in F1?
From the 2022 season, Valtteri Bottas will be wearing the colors of Alfa Romeo. The team has had quite a lot of problems in recent years, especially when it comes to results. They were ninth in 2021, so they only managed to beat the Haas team. It looks like Bottas will have the chance to write an even longer story in Formula 1 that would be really beautiful if he could take the team to much higher positions.
It’s hard to say what will happen in the 2022 season, as Bottas himself noted when he said:
We can’t assume that we will fail in something. Everything is possible in this sport. I saw it in Williams in 2014. A job well done makes a big difference. This is why I believe we can do many good things.
You can only count on more progress in the 2023 season. It is rather unlikely that Alfie will be able to make a major jump immediately after Bottas joins, although on the other hand F1 is unpredictable.
