What are stickers in Apex Legends? What to know about the new cosmetic addition in season 15

Apex Legends

The latest season of Apex Legends will bring new cosmetic elements to the game.

While a new map, character, or pass are the most important elements of the new season, cosmetic additions such as skins, among others, are also a sizable part of the title, which is crucial for the developers to monetize the free-to-play game.

Skins for heroes, weapons, banners, or other such things allow players to personalize their profiles and give their characters some personal style.

Respawn wants to expand this kind of personalization in Season 15 and is introducing stickers, a brand-new cosmetic addition to the game. These items will allow players to customize the appearance of healing items to their own taste.

Stickers in Apex Legends

Unlike the current set of cosmetic add-ons, stickers cannot be placed on weapons or legends, and instead, give players a chance to customize the appearance of healing and shield renewal items.

The full list of items on which it will be possible to apply the chosen sticker is below:

  • Shield Cell,
  • Shield Battery,
  • Pheonix Kit,
  • Med Kit.

It seems that only one sticker can be placed on each item, and for now only healing items can be personalized in this way.

Stickers work exactly the same as any other cosmetic item – you can select them from your inventory in the customization tabs. You’ll notice that the graphics that players will stick on the items depict both characters from the game, as well as various symbols or references to the storyline – there is also a plush Nessie to be found.

Respawn also confirmed that the stickers will be a permanent addition, with more coming in future seasons and events. They will be introduced for the first time as early as November 1, 2022, which is when the new season starts.
