Apex Legends player freaked out by this unexpected statement from one of the characters

One of the voice lines of the heroine of Apex Legends scared the player badly. Why?
Valkyrie’s unexpected statement surprised an Apex Legends player, who heard a strange quote from the character after her death.
The winged avenger joined the ranks of Apex Legends characters in 2021 during the ninth season. She quickly gained many fans through both her skill set and colorful character.
Valkyrie has been somewhat weakened recently, and the nerfs that were prepared for her have reduced her power in many ways. Nevertheless, she remains quite a formidable opponent on the battlefield.
The character’s combat abilities, however, are not what caused one Apex Legends player to freak out badly. It’s about a rather strange statement.
Unexpected statement in Apex Legends
A Reddit user uploaded a video and informed the community that he experienced a rather strange action during one gameplay. In the footage, it can be seen that a few seconds after the player’s death, the voice of one of the characters sounds, saying “you like me, you really like me.” The author of the entry was confused, as he completely did not expect this.

Many people responded to the post, trying to figure out the mystery and explain in a rational way what happened in the recording above. Some commenters suggested that perhaps the author of the statement was another player who said it via voice chat. Others claimed that it was some kind of strange bug.
The truth, however, is not all that strange. The voice the player heard was neither the utterance of another person nor the result of a bug. It was one of the lines of dialogue of Valkyrie, a character who was on the team of the author of the entry.
One commenter explained that the character’s full quote reads as follows: “I’m the new Ratings Leader. You like me, you really like me.” Valkyrie says this when she becomes the ranking leader. Since the author of the film died while the character was speaking, the quote was cut off and played only halfway through.
After the explanation, the whole event is not the least bit scary, although it must be admitted that a random cut-off text of this type right after death can be very disorienting at first.
