Robbie Coltrane’s farewell at Hogwarts. Fans raise wands and umbrellas in the air.

Anthony Robert McMillan was an outstanding actor and collectively starred in dozens of productions. However, he became most famous for his role as Hagrid in the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s novel.

Unfortunately, on Friday, October 14, at the age of 72, he passed away. Harry Potter fans decided to say farewell to him in their own way. They gathered outside Hogwarts and raised wands and umbrellas in the air.

Celebrating the death of Robbie Coltrane

Fan communities often support the people associated with a piece of work they really like. This time they showed it after the death of the rather well-known actor who played the role of Hagrid, that is, the gamekeeper and keeper of the keys at the School of Magic. Those gathered lifted up umbrellas and wands, a reference to the film series.

When Dumbledore dies in Half-Blood Prince, all students and teachers, out of respect, raise their wands in front of the castle. As for the pink umbrellas, on the other hand, they are not there by chance either.

Because of the false accusations of opening the Chamber of Secrets, he was not allowed to use magic, and his wand was broken. However, this did not stop him, and he secretly used his umbrella, in which he placed its fragments. As you can see, fans are well aware of this.
