The Welcome to Alola event in Pokemon GO has started – new Pokemon, tasks and rewards

Pokemon Go

An event related to the new region – Alola has started in the game. What attractions were given to the players?

The Alola region was added faster than everyone expected. Just last weekend, Niantic announced that the game will feature brand new creatures that come from the Hawaii-inspired region.

It didn’t take long for a new themed event with interesting attractions to come to the game. The most important is, of course, the new species of Pokemon, and among them you can meet Generation VII starters, but also creatures found on the Alola Islands, such as e.g. Pikipek, Yungoos, or Rockruff.

Additionally, the game will feature a new Special Research and a Collector’s Challenge. Here are the most important information about the Welcome to Alola event.
