On June 1, another season in Pokemon GO will start. As always, it will be full of interesting attractions.


May 31 is the last day of the Season of Alola in Pokemon GO. It was a time full of interesting events and, above all, the introduction of a new generation of creatures. The players got acquainted with the Alolan islands and their legendary guardians – Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu, and Tapu Fini.

A lot has happened in the game, but as you know, each season must end to make room for more bonuses, attractions, and events. Starting tomorrow, the Season of GO will start in Pokemon GO, which will last throughout the holiday. What is known about it? What bonuses will be active in the near future?

Season of GO in Pokemon GO

Season of GO will start on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, and will last until Thursday, September 1, 2022. On this occasion, there are really many interesting attractions and bonuses.

At the beginning, it is worth mentioning the bonuses that will be active for the next three months:

  • Increased friendship bonus with other players during raids.
  • The Lure Module will last one hour each.
  • You will receive an additional Special Trade daily.
  • You will receive additional candy during Pokemon exchanges.
  • Guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokemon.
  • Guaranteed gifts after spinning the PokeStop.
  • Increased damage for Pokemon that participate in raids remotely.
  • Incense effectiveness increased while the player is moving.

Earlier XL Candy Access

From the Season of GO onward, we are reducing the level requirement necessary to obtain Candy XL. Now, all Trainers level 31 and above will be able to get Candy XL as a reward!

GO Battle League

The GO Battle League is back with Season 11! With new cups like the Fossil Cup, the Summer Cup, and GO Fest Catch Cup to play in and the 2022 Pokémon World Championships coming in August, there’s never been a better time to get into the GO Battle League!

In addition, the following attractions will be added to the game:

  • Different Pokémon will appear in specific areas around the world.
    • cities: Rattata, Koffing, Aipom, Bronzor, Croagunk, Patrat, Galarian Stunfisk,
    • forests: Oddish, Weepinbell, Tangela, Shuckle, Shroomish, Cherubi, Yungoos,
    • mountains: Sandshrew, Onix, Phanpy, Aron, Trapinch, Hippopotas, Golett,
    • areas close to the water: Tentacool, Krabby, Horsea, Wooper, Corphish, Spheal, Dewpider.
  • Individual hemispheres will enjoy exclusive Pokemon:
    • Northern hemisphere: Ledyba, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Combee, Gible, Deerling (Summer),
    • Southern hemisphere: Spinarak, Larvitar, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Trubbish, Deerling (Winter).
  • The following Pokemon will hatch from 2-kilometer-long eggs: Poliwag, Magnemite, Magikarp, Meditite, Pikipek, Yungoos, Stufful.
  • The following Pokemon will hatch from 5-kilometer-long eggs: Togepi, Skarmory, Wynaut, Bronzor, Rowlet, Litten, Popplio.
  • The following Pokemon will hatch from 10-kilometer-long eggs:Riolu, Emolga, Axew, Rufflet, Goomy, Noibat, Jangmo-o.
  • From the 5km eggs received as part of the Adventure Sync rewards, the following Pokemon will hatch: Cranidos, Shieldon, Happiny, Munchlax, Roggenrola, Frillish.
  • From the 10km eggs received as part of the Adventure Sync rewards, the following Pokemon will hatch: Dratini, Bagon, Beldum, Riolu, Deino, Goomy.
