Pokemon GO players laugh at new graphics bug. “Does anyone test new features before release?”

The Pokemon GO community has laughed at a small graphics bug related to Blanche. Seemingly nothing, yet it outraged quite a few people.

Graphics bugs in games are the norm, and it’s hard to find a popular title that has never scored any slip-ups with animations or textures. It would seem that this is something natural and common enough in the industry that gamers have stopped being particularly concerned about it. At most, a silly bug might cause a smile on the face or the creation of a few memes.

Unfortunately, bugs in Pokemon GO have already stopped making some of the community laugh. Another one, this time related to Blanche, has made a group of people think that they are no longer under the illusion that anyone is testing the new content. What is the issue?

T-pose performed by Blanche

The “A Mystic Hero” event in Pokemon GO has brought various attractions and new tasks. During the research, one of the team leaders – Blanche – talks to players. And here’s where a problem arises, as Niantic seems to have forgotten to add an animation character in the latest Special Research. As a result, this one appears in the form of a T-pose, something that has long since become a meme in the gaming community.

On Reddit, screenshots and footage quickly emerged showing the bugged leader. Quite a few people laughed it off and treated it as just another funny bug. There were also those who were strongly outraged by the developers’ slip-up. Why?

Video

In the video, you can see that Blanche not only adopts a T-pose every now and then, but also elements of her outfit behave very strangely.

Not all players were amused by the bug, as many said it was just another example of the developer’s laziness with the title. Fans couldn’t understand how such an obvious bug could have been missed – according to the community, it looks as if no one tested some elements before releasing them into players’ hands.

Fortunately, the bug is really minor and doesn’t affect gameplay, doesn’t hinder catching creatures, or disrupt the app itself. However, it doesn’t change the fact that quite a few people were outraged that such a popular title has so many graphical bugs, and that they appear in close succession.
