At the moment, two characters are disabled in Overwatch 2. Players are increasingly asking Blizzard how much longer they will have to wait.
Blizzard took the example of other online games and began to react sharply to various kinds of bugs. In other productions it works in a very simple way – if there is a problem with some weapon, item, or mechanic, it is disabled until the next patch or until it is fixed.
And so, when there was a problem with Torbjorn and Bastion, Blizzard decided to disable them. The problem is that it’s been going on for a while, and players haven’t been told when to expect a fix.
Where have they gone?
Torbjorn is currently unavailable in competitive modes, and with Bastion, it’s a bit worse – the character is completely absent from the hero selection.
When will they return? That, unfortunately, is unknown. Unofficially, it is said that next week, along with the next update. Their deactivation was directly caused by bugs that affected gameplay.
Players have begun to become deeply concerned about this situation, especially evident on Reddit, where threads asking about Bastion appear daily. This is especially annoying for new players who unlock Bastion only to find out that they can’t play him.
