Yesterday there was a presentation in which Blizzard gave some information about Overwatch 2 and the upcoming beta.
Thanks to the entire presentation, it is known that the beta will start on April 26, 2022, which is not some amazing surprise at the moment when Blizzard itself communicated the launch “at the end of April”.
People will be allowed to enter the beta in stages, although as the developers say, several different stages are to be expected. It will probably be similar to the beta of the first part when Blizzard turned on more features and allowed more and more players to get in.
What’s new is known?
Nothing was revealed in the presentation itself that the players didn’t really know. Blizzard has confirmed that it plans to release the beta to console players, but it is a bit difficult. It’s also safe to say that Doomfist is now a tank.
Leaks show that Blizzard has given him a new skill – Power Block.
In Overwatch 2, expect a ping system that hasn’t been said much about. It will simply be the one we already know from practically all online games.
