The players finally got the details. Blizzard has already officially announced the start of the Overwatch 2 beta. This one will start in late April 2022. A special registration page has already been made available for this occasion. In addition, “News from the creators” was published.

How to sign up for the Overwatch 2 beta?

The first stage of the PvP beta test will feature the most significant changes to the game since launch. Here are the highlights that you can expect:

  • New attack hero: Sojourn,
  • new game mode: Push,
  • 5v5 multiplayer,
  • Hero Updates
  • 4 new maps.

Overwatch 2 PvP Closed Alpha Testing begins today and includes Blizzard employees, Overwatch League pro gamers, and a handful of other select groups to help prepare for larger-scale testing.

Then, in late April, the first beta testing phase of the PC PvP mode will begin in selected regions. This Closed Beta will involve a larger group of testers who will be asked for feedback and suggestions for the gameplay. The goal at this stage will be to test new game features, content and systems before developers move on to testing servers with a wider player base in future beta phases.
