Blizzard apologizes for Overwatch 2 release and gives away free skins and other bonuses to players

Blizzard admits that the release of Overwatch 2 was not very good. The developers decided to reward players for their patience in a certain way.

All Overwatch players know very well what the release of “two” was like. Therefore, Blizzard decided to do something unusual, at least for OW developers. As a thank you for your patience and as an apology, free bonuses have been made available to everyone who logs into the game in a while.

Up for grabs will be a weapon pendant, double XP, and, most importantly, a free Reaper skin. It’s worth your interest, as you won’t have to do anything but log in.

How to collect the bonuses?

Receiving these three things will be trivial. All you have to do is log in by the deadline of October 25, 2022.

This is certainly a good direction that other productions have been using for a long time. This makes players more satisfied, although it is known that one skin will not change much. As for the appearance:

The free gun pendant is in the shape of a classic first aid kit:

Of course, it is to be expected that Blizzard will continue to update Overwatch 2, introduce needed bugfixes, etc. Currently, it’s pretty good in terms of the frequency and effectiveness of updates.
