Preview of the second Community Day Classic in Pokemon GO. Who will it be focused on?

The developers announced that there will be another classic Community Day in April. What is known about it?

The first Community Day Classic was announced earlier this year, on January 5 to be precise. At that time, no one knew whether the new event format would last longer. The first classic Community Day was related to Bulbasaur on January 22, 2022.

The new event was warmly welcomed by the community, and players were happy that the creators were introducing new types of events.

The assumptions of Community Day Classic were very simple – most of the attractions have practically the same format as in the basic version of the event, but the main character is a slightly older generation Pokemon.

After a few months, it became known that Niantic wanted to continue the classic Community Days. Today it is already known who the next one will be associated with. It will be a water creature that was introduced in Generation III.

Community Day Classic: Memories of Mudkip

Community Day Classic: Memories of Mudkip will take place on April 10, 2022 (Sunday), and will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The following attractions will appear in the game:

  • Mudkip will spawn more frequently in the wild. Anyone who is lucky will find the shiny version.
  • Marshtomp (Mudkip evolution) evolved during or up to 2 hours after the event will give a Swampert who knows the Hydro Cannon attack
  • Special Research will be available for ticket holders.
  • A free bundle will appear in the store, which will contain 30 Ultra Balls.
  • After taking the photo, there will be some surprises.
  • A box for 850 PokeCoins will be available in the store, which will contain:
    • 15 x Ultra Ball,
    • 15 x Pinap Berry,
    • 1 x Elite Fast TM,
    • 1 x Remote Raid Pass.

The following bonuses will be active:

  • Triple XP for catching Pokemon.
  • The Lure Module activated during the event will last 3 hours.
  • Incense activated during the event will last 3 hours.
