Which LoL characters are currently able to immobilize the opponent for the longest time? Worth knowing

Who in League of Legends is most effective at preventing your opponent from moving?

In League of Legends, crowd control is really important to the gameplay. It allows you to make both aggressive and defensive moves, and most characters have access to them. However, not every effect is equally strong.

We can distinguish, among others, stun, slowing, or immobilization and each of them is characterized by how it limits the movements and actions performed by the opponent. Who in the patch currently on the servers is able to neutralize the opponent for the longest time?

Strongest CC in patch 12.12

Apart from the fact that not all crowd control effects affect a champion the same way, not all crowd control effects last the same. Abilities vary in duration, often depending, among other things, on how difficult it is to apply it or how long the cooldown the applying ability has.

The user with the nickname kratzk0pp decided to summarize the strongest CC effects in terms of duration. Which characters are in the lead?

The longest CC in League of Legends is currently applied by Ashe’s ultimate. Not only does the ability have a fairly large cooldown when used as ADC, but it also requires hitting the enemy from a minimum distance of 2,800 for the spell to stun for as long as possible.

Another ability in the ranking is Karma’s W, enhanced by her ultimate – Mantra. For the crowd control effect to apply, the heroine has to stay near it for two seconds.

Next on the list are Aurelion Sol’s and Morgana’s Q and Neeko’s E. In the case of Aurelion Sol, the duration of the stun depends on the distance traveled by the hero and his comet, and in the case of Neeko, the stun takes longer if the enemy hit is not the first. Of the characters mentioned so far, it can be concluded that Morgana has it the easiest, because, in comparison with the other heroes, she only needs to hit the opponent with a relatively narrow skill.

In most situations, immobilization for that long will be fatal. Especially if there is an ally nearby who can help killing the enemy. Crowd Control Effects are an incredibly effective tool, and developers must be careful not to give the champion too much strength, carefully choosing the duration of CC, the difficulty of applying it, and the cost involved.
