What can be done to make the Mythical Chromas from LoL worth the money? One of the players idea
One of the League of Legends fans came up with the idea to overhaul the content related to Mythical Chromas.
As you know, quite recently Riot introduced a new type of chromas, which is a mythical color – not only can it not be bought in a regular store for RP (or BE for the Essence Emporium), but it is also much more expensive than other add-ons of this type.
Average chroma in LoL costs 290 RP and is usually released with the release of a new skin. The Mythical Chromas concern older skins (such as Final Boss Veigar, which was released in 2014), appear in the Mythical Store and cost as much as 40 ME. Is it possible to tweak Mythical Chromas content to be worth a whopping 40 ME? One player thinks so.
Mythic Chrome and add-on fixes
Currently, you can buy a new color of Final Boss Veigar in the Mythical Store. The set also includes a slightly reworked icon. Those who follow Star Guardian know that the Star Guardian Jinx Chroma will also be on offer, transforming the Legendary Hero Skin into darker colors.
One of the players – Hawkoon01 – thought that the price of the set was too high. In his opinion, the purchase of Mythical Chromas should not only give much more but also affect the appearance of the icon or splash art.
Currently, the icon included in the set is a regular graphic or an older icon with an additional frame (similar to those that appear in the event stores in sets).
According to the author of the thread, the icon should reflect the color of the chroma. Here is the comparison he made.
Mythic Chroma Icon: A chroma icon that unlocks the special VFX chroma. Instead of a ‘border’ over the icon, it is a recolored version (in the colors of the chroma) of the Legendary Skin Icon. Costs 40 ME.
This, of course, is not the end. In addition to the icon, the player can choose the color of the splash of the skin for which he purchased Mythic Chroma. After setting the appropriate color of the icon, the colors of the skin graphics would change.

The commentating players admitted that some of the ideas of the author of the post are quite interesting. If you don’t want to change graphics while the game is loading, it would be interesting to change the color of the emote instead of the frame. The players decided that the value of the sets with Mythical Chromas should be much higher from the very beginning, especially with the price as high as 40 ME.
