The most useful Herald in the history of LoL? Nothing more could be done
One of the players shared a video on which Herald did a perfect job.
The Herald Rift is the third strongest monster on the Summoner’s Rift map to appear in the pit of Baron Nashor. After defeating him, he leaves the Eye of the Herald, which offers a buff, but also allows you to summon a monster to fight on the side of the team. It is really useful because it can destroy towers very quickly.
Usually, the Herald is useful for destroying a turret or two, as it will rarely survive longer. However, there are times when a monstrous ally will do much more.
One player has shown a perfect Heral that practically won the game for his team. It’s nice to look at what was happening on the bot lane.
Herald versus 5 towers
A player named You_Read_My_Name posted a video to Reddit of what happened on bot lane. Red team Volibear approaches the opposite tower and summons the Herald. The bottom lane is not overcrowded and still has enemy turrets. At that moment, the players probably did not expect that the decision to summon the monster would end in a won match.
The first tower falls very quickly. The blue team tries to defend the other, but it doesn’t work out. The Tower is down and the Herald is left with little HP.
It might seem that someone will finish him off in a moment, but it does not happen – soon another tower falls, followed by an inhibitor.
With the blue team almost completely dead, no one can stop the Herald from walking like a storm and destroying everything in his path. Players don’t have to wait long for the Nexus towers to collapse in moments as well.
Shortly after, the blue team’s Nexus is destroyed. Amazingly, the Herald survived it all. What’s more – he only has 1 HP left. The commentators admitted that the sight of the dancing monster after winning the match made them feel better.
The video quickly gained popularity and less than a day after its publication, over 8,000 people responded to it.
