Stealing a Baron or a Dragon using your opponent’s jungler in LoL? For Renata, it is possible

League of Legends

Renata surprises again, this time it’s about stealing the most important buffs in the game.

Renata was fully disclosed only a few days ago and is not yet available on official servers, and is already causing a lot of controversies. This time, players don’t like her ultimate.

The new mechanic that allows you to force your opponents to destroy your team is considered exaggerated. Especially if it forces the jungler to give Renata the Baron with his own “sword”

There are many ways to steal a Dragon or a Baron in League of Legends. This can be done not only by junglers using smite, but also by mages with high damage, such as Lux’s ultimate, or Xerath’s “Q” or “R”.

Now, however, with the introduction of new mechanics to the League – friendly fire, junglers must be even more careful. Especially since they themselves can give it to the opponent. It is enough for them to be hit with Renata’s ult. How does this skill work?

She sends out a cloud of chemicals that causes enemies to go Berserk, increasing their Attack Speed & forcing them to basic attack anything around them. Berserk enemies prioritize attacking their own allies, then neutral units, then her team, then herself.

Berserkers attack their allies first, and then neutral units. This means that the group fighting the Baron, instead of continuing to attack him, will start to attack and eliminate each other. If, however, it is a lonely jungler, he will continue to deal damage to the monster, and when he eliminates it, it will go to the account of Renata’s team. Vandiril showed it in his latest video.

However, there is a solution to this. It is enough for the jungler to use smite. This is not the skill that prohibits the use of this spell. Consequently, the summoner spell and its availability once again play a big role in capturing objects.
