Riot has responded to the voices of LoL players and is making corrections to the frames representing the divisions

Fixes for frames representing divisions in LoL.

This season, new frames and rating markings have been added to League of Legends. They have received very mixed opinions and some people like them, while others say that they look like products intended for children.

Now the developers have announced the fixes that should be released soon on the official servers. What will change?

Change of visual additions

Jordan Checkamn, Lead Designer for League of Legends, informed the community that they are currently working on improving their ranked presentation. Namely, the frame in the waiting room, on the profile, while loading and not only there will show our division, and not only the rank, as it was in previous seasons, but was removed in 2022.

In addition, the employees also addressed several other issues:

  • Increasing the difference between gold and bronze rank appearance.
  • Render quality issues when loading matches.
  • Insufficiently prestigious ranking borders at the highest levels.

Riot has long been working on ways to make the rank representation in LoL unique. Perhaps by the end of the season, this aspect of the game will be improved many times.

The developers have not given an exact date when these changes will enter the official servers. We can assume, however, that these will appear with an update 12.2, which is expected to be released on Thursday, January 20. However, this is not confirmed information, but only assumptions.
