Riot had a slip-up yesterday, although it can be suspected that it was not accidental.
There are a few characters in LoL that have a really hard time. Some even laugh that Riot has forgotten about their champions. Yesterday, by accident, on the official LoL video, a skin was leaked to a character that had not received any for a good 2 years.
At the same time, it will be the first skin since her release. It is hard to believe because it seemed that this moment would never come. And yet Rell will get her skin and it is from the Star Guardian series.
Leaked skin for Rell, two years after the release
Rell was released in December 2020. Since then, she hasn’t gotten any skins except the one that was added at the premiere.
Now it turns out that Rell will get her skin. Many people mistakenly assumed (especially on FB groups) that it was a leak of a new character, but no, it turns out to be a skin for Rell. Although Riot was removing the video in a panic, it was of no avail.
On the bottom right you can see the skin for Rell which will be revealed soon. Riot usually speeds up everything after such mishaps, so an official announcement can appear at any time.
This is one of many such “mishaps”. You can suspect that this time Riot really did not want to disclose it, because there was a lot of hype for the skin.
