LoL streamer banned less than 24 hours after showing it on Twitch

League of Legends

One of the streamers had a serious mishap. He showed viewers that he was using banned third-party programs in LoL.

League of Legends is currently one of the most popular games in the world. The title from Riot Games is very popular among players. Many of them have been climbing the ranking ladder for years, which means that each game is taken very seriously.

Some people want to achieve better results so much that they decide to break the rules of the game itself and reach for third programs that make various activities easier for them – show enemies on the map, target their skills at opponents, avoid enemy skills incredibly quickly, and so on.

As you can imagine, this type of program is of course banned and Riot bans accounts with various scripts. In the past, there was even talk of closing entire companies that were creating such software. Even so, there are some people who continue to risk and expose their accounts to permaban.

Ban for scripts in LoL

Logtube_, a Twitch streamer, was streaming League of Legends one day. It wouldn’t be anything special – thousands of people from all over the world stream their Summoner’s Rift matches every day.

There was a problem, however, because the aforementioned streamer was not honest and decided to use scripts that gave him additional information, such as the location of enemies on the map.

Logtube_ was playing Xerath at the time, and green circles appeared around his hero to indicate skill ranges. The bot he was using had many more functions. It was a classic cheat that most probably knows about.

As might be expected, this behavior did not go unnoticed. Viewers decided to react and began reporting the cheating player. Streamer got banned from Twitch shortly afterward. TTV has very clear rules for this type of situation – you cheat in games – you get banned.

Was the streamer popular? Probably not, although many people associate his nickname with cheats. His TikTok account has practically nothing but cheats videos in the lead role. His broadcasts were watched by several dozen people, until June 23 – then a “peak” of viewers appeared in the amount of over 430. Soon after that, Twitch imposed a ban.

The use of scripts in League of Legends has always received a wave of criticism from the rest of the community. LoL players have never respected people who simply cheated during matches.
