LoL patch 12.10b – Who gets nerfs and who gets buffs? Riot announces balance adjustments
The creators of League of Legends shared information about which heroes will be changed in the next update.
Patch 12.10 introduced many changes that mixed up a lot in the game. The general opinion of the update isn’t bad, and a large part of the community found that the game is now much more enjoyable and the title feels refreshed.
As the meta changed a lot and it was hard to predict what would actually happen, some characters benefited too much from the patch, while others started losing a lot of games and their win rate dropped significantly.
Riot wants to balance this, so there are various fixes being prepared to balance individual champions.
The buffs and nerfs in patch 12.10b
The creators of League of Legends have published a list on the Internet that informs about who will receive buffs and who will receive nerfs in the smaller update marked 12.10b.
Matt Leung-Harrison, aka Riot Phroxzon, in a statement related to Update 12.10b wrote:
We’ve been thrilled to see the reception to the durability update across all regions!
The team has aligned on the highest priority champions to hotfix. There will be more context & specifics in the mid-patch notes when it’s up.
In another entry, he added:
We favored champions that have risen/fallen significantly since the patch released AND have winrates that fall outside our bounds. This means that champions who are already outside our bounds, but didn’t change (eg. Ryze) are more likely to be addressed in 12.11 than this hotfix.
