Who will be affected by the 12.5b patches? Big Zeri nerfs and Master Yi buffs.
The pause between update 12.6 and the preceding update 12.5 was supposed to last twice as long as the standard one. Patch 12.6 will not be released until March 30, and the developers must release minor changes in Update 12.5b to keep the gameplay in balance.
