Two LoL fans designed a skin for Qiyana, which is a great fit for this heroine.
Sometimes it happens that one skin design is developed by different artists. As a result, the skin not only gets concept graphics, but also a 3D model, and even skill animations or sound effects.
It’s not uncommon for League of Legends fans to be talented artists who can create concepts to match those released by Riot. According to some, even the fan-made ones are sometimes better than the original ones.
How is it this time? Here is an elaborate design of a new skin for one of the very distinctive characters – Qiyana.
Idea for a new skin – Debonair Qiyana
The author of the idea is jason 小傑, an artist whose work has appeared many times in older articles. Jason has in the past come up with concepts such as Crystal Rose Neeko, Snow Fawn Lilia, K/DA ALL OUT Jinx, Bewitching Seraphine, or even Star Guardian Kai’Sa and Coven Evelynn before those were officially released by Riot.
The idea for Debonair Qiyana gained a second life after a graphic designer took an interest in it and created a 3D model. Qi Guo, who also has fan artwork from League of Legends to his credit, is responsible for modeling the heroine.
How does the combination of the two artists’ work look?
It must be admitted that the skin looks very interesting, and the Debonair series matches Qiyana. A well-made 3D model and a lot of conceptual graphics mean that more than one person could mistake this fan project for a real skin released by Riot.
Qiyana fans would probably like to get such a skin someday. Perhaps the creators will actually release it – the author of the original design has incredible luck in predicting the future and coming up with skins that later make their way into the game in a slightly different form.
