Why didn’t you get your free Fortnite pickaxe despite playing 30 minutes on the map?

Fortnite players can earn a free pickaxe since yesterday. And although many people have already met the requirements, the pickaxe is still not on their accounts. Why?

Getting a pickaxe is very simple. It is enough to play at least 30 minutes on the map of “Creative Mayhem”. To do this, either go directly through the official link or in the game itself.

Why didn’t you get the pickaxe?

Meeting this requirement doesn’t mean you’ll get a pickaxe right away. This information can only be found directly in the FAQ of the entire event.

As we read, the rewards, i.e. the “emote” and the pickaxe, can be awarded up to 3 weeks after playing 30 minutes in a special mode. This means that Epic might even give them at the end of February.

Of course, it’s doubtful that the developers will wait so long, but thanks to this information, you don’t have to worry about the fact that the pickaxe has not yet appeared on your account.
