Out of nowhere, it would surely be difficult for players to replace the rarest pickaxe in all of Fortnite. However, it is quite simple, because Epic treated pickaxes in a unique way. It is this cosmetic item that is awarded to those who have won the FNCS.

You don’t get the winner’s pickaxe forever – it passes from one person to another. There is no way to buy it, no other way than to win against everyone else.

It is not known why, but indeed, a few hours ago, Epic mistakenly awarded a large proportion of people with this pickaxe. This raises the question of what the developers were changing or rather what they were getting ready for that the award of this pickaxe started.

Maybe it has to do with the FNCS itself, maybe the drops, maybe the coming season? It’s hard to say exactly what happened here.

Epic is fixing the bug, so probably by the time you read this you don’t have that pickaxe anymore, even if you could use it a few hours ago.
