Fortnite provides ample opportunity for all sorts of experiments. Some are more thoughtful, others are completely out of the box.
Fortnite players came up with an idea to see what would happen to the game if they tried to blow up 100,000 canisters in creative mode. One can guess that this put the maximum load on the server, but how then does the game itself react?
Surely something like this is quite a test for Epic and the servers. With too much load, Creative Mode behaves in a very specific way, only to then simply give up.
100,000 canisters in Fortnite
Fortnite players have spent a lot of time to literally flood the creative mode with canisters. Why and what for? For no reason at all. The sight alone is quite interesting, and best of all, the canisters at some point start dancing because they can no longer fit on the ground.
Blowing everything up at once had the expected effect. The canisters exploded, completely lagging the server. In fact, it’s a bit like playing with TNT in Minecraft. Video without sound:
Of course, such a situation will never happen, so crashing the server is just in this case in a sense already a safeguard.
